Since I have been on my diet I have learned to do without foods that I use to worship. I was once a first-rate chocoholic, and now nothing. I quit cold turkey. I ate one last Almond Joy and never looked back. And do you know what? I don’t really miss it anymore. Sure I went through D.T.s for about a month. I was so desperate for chocolate that a stale chewy butter finger or a rotten malt ball would have been nirvana. I needed chocolate like Matt Jones needs rehab.
